17th April - RAGIC END FOR SYDNEY'S FAVOURITE RACE HORSE - HOT DANISH

Following hospitalisation at Randwick Equine Centre http://www.randwickequine.com.au for a bone infection, Hot Danish was sadly put to rest on Sunday 17th of April. This was tragic news for her trainer Les Bridge and jockey Tim Clark. This follows Tim Clark's biggest day at the races with a Group 1 double on Saturday. The ups and downs of racing and horse in general. Hot Danish was originally purchased by Les Bridge for $32,000 at the Scone yearling sale. She was broken in and prepared to race at Limitless Lodge and quickly became Sydney's favourite race horse because of her incredible will to win and winning strike rate. She finished her career a dual Group 1 winner and will never be forgotten.

10th April - MERCATOR DU RY TO NOW BE RIDDEN BY SOPHIE ADAMS

Tim's very successful 2 star horse - Mercator Du Ry will now be ridden by his girlfriend, Sophie Adams, to climb through the ranks. His immediate goal with Sophie will be Melbourne CCI* in June and Adelaide CCI** in November. Most recently for Tim he ran 3rd at Sydney CNC** in February, 2011 and 3rd at Adelaide CIC**, 2010. This was because Sophie was without a top horse following the sale of Tainui Lad to clients in Victoria.

9th April - LIMITLESS LODGE GRADUATES TRIFECTA THE GROUP 2 SAPPHIRE STAKES AT RANDWICK

Hurtle Myrtle won the Sapphire Stakes for Matthew Smith http://www.matthewsmithracing.com.au in a close finish defeating Kimillsy and Marquadt. Both Kimillsy and Hurtle Myrtle were prepared for their return to racing on the aquacizer for several months. Marquadt was broken in and prepared to race for Patinack Farm at Limitless Lodge. It is always very pleasing to see graduates from the farm do well and even better when we back them - which of course we didn't this time... and the dividends were enormous ofcourse!!!

8th April - INGLIS EASTER YEARLING SALE A MAJOR SUCCESS

All the biggest buyers from around the world and Australia converged on Newmarket to compete for the best bred horses in the country. Following the Easter Sales 17 horses returned to the farm to be broken in for clients including; John Size (HK), David Payne, Matthew Smith, M W and J Hawkes and Chris Waller. We look forward to this time of the year very much to see the new season babies and try and work out who the stars will be. For full sale results go to: http://www.inglis.com.au.

2nd April - RANGIRANGDOO WINS THE GROUP 1 GEORGE RYDER STAKES AT ROSEHILL

One of our favourite horses to ever be prepared at the farm, Rangirangdoo, made a sensational return from a serious tendon injury and 12 months away from the race track to win the major lead up to the Doncaster. Rangi, trained by Sydney's leading trainer Chris Waller http://www.cwallerracing.com , is the most gentle, straightforward horse to do anything with and it was our pleasure to have him on the aquacizer to aid in his rehabilitation. He pulled up a bit scratchy after the race but has now got the all clear to press on to the Group 1 All Aged Stakes on Saturday April 23 at Randwick.
